Airport Transfers

For those traveling on April 4 and April 7 athenahealth will book airport transfers from the Aruba airport to The Ritz-Carlton round-trip.  Please refer to your individual itinerary to confirm your flight details are correct for airport pickup purposes.

Also your departure pickup time from the hotel will be listed on your individual itinerary.  Keep in mind you will be clearing both Aruba and US customs at the airport when departing. Please ensure you arrive to the airport approximately 2.5-3 hours prior to departure so you have plenty of time to do both, especially since it is a Sunday.

More information will be provided once we receive the final flight manifest in terms of arrival and departure procedures.

[fa icon="plus-square"] Expense Report/Resort Credit Policy, Can we eat off property Saturday night?

Yes, to ensure an amazing experience we encourage you to explore what Aruba has to offer.

With the change of the final dinner to Friday, now Saturday evening, you can expense up to $100/per person ($200/per couple) to cover your dinner out exploring the island.  If you choose to stay at The Ritz-Carlton, Aruba for dinner/drinks please abide by the same policy of expensing $100/per person for this evening.

For additional meals not organized by athena (daily breakfast & lunch), you will have $300/per person ($600/per room) of resort credits on your Ritz-Carlton hotel room account.  At check-out, all expenses up to this amount will be paid by athenahealth.  As mentioned above, you will also have an additional $100/per person ($200/per couple) to expense through athenahealth’s expense system for Saturday night's dinner.

[fa icon="plus-square"] What is the Dress Code?
Attire for the entire event is resort casual.  This includes the Thursday evening Welcome Reception and the Friday morning meeting.  For the Final Dinner Event on Friday night, resort chic is requested (linen, maxi dresses, khaki shorts/pants, etc. – no jeans and no sport coats are required).   Keep in mind the final dinner event is on the beach so you may choose to leave your shoes at the entrance when you arrive.  Please pack a thin sweater or shawl for the evenings as it does tend to cool off after the sun sets.
[fa icon="plus-square"] If the itinerary changes, how will I stay updated?

There will be 2 options.

  1. All updates and changes will communicated to you through email in a timely manner.  This means you should use the hotel wi-fi at least once a day to check for any updates or special events added.
